Q. Survey or not?
A. We always recommend that you have a survey done when you are purchasing a new home because it will disclose any property line issues, setback violations and will give you a true and accurate depiction of your property. The cost is minimal at roughly $225 for property in a subdivision and an additional $100 for an elevation certificate. For properties with acreage, the price is determined by the amount of time is spent working on the survey.
Q. How much money do I need and when will I find out?
A. Our goal is to provide you with final numbers at least 24 hours prior to closing. Sometimes we are unable to meet that goal for reasons beyond our control. Don't worry or stress, you will be given sufficient time to obtain certified funds even if that is immediately after closing.
